Tasting Notes

In 1981Ron and Diane Miller established Silverado Vineyards to begin making wines from the historic sites that comprise their Estate. Their ranches were first planted to vineyards by Napa pioneers between 1865 and 1895. The exceptional fruit from these 6 vineyards is the exclusive source for their Estate and Single vineyard wines which are the Miller family's best expression of the Napa Valley they love and admire.

For this classic Cabernet Sauvignon the vineyards deliver a balanced structure and velvety texture, black cherry aromas, flavors of ripe plum and hints of licorice on the finish. The small additions of Merlot and Petit Verdot add complexity and plushness and contribute to the lengthy aging potential of the wine.
