Tasting Notes

Monvigliero is incredibly complex and expressive; evolving in the glass from first drop to the very last. This wine is bone-dry, with refreshing acid and powerful, grippy tannins. The wine hosts an array or ripe and slightly dried red fruit; cherries, cranberries, currants. The underlying orange zest and orange oil support the red fruit beautifully. Layers of dried earth, dried leather, tobacco leaf, sandalwood, camphor, crushed red rose petals, black tea leaf. A beautiful, harmonious Nebbiolo with the perfect lingering finish.
