Tasting Notes

A blend of local grape varieties Viosinho, Moscatel Galego Branco & Rabigato from selected north-facing vineyards in the Douro Valley. After spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is naturally piped through vats by means of gravity.

Taste: The wine shows tart and ripe green apple, lemon zest and bosc pear. There is a distinct saline minerality and underlying notes of white pepper, and crushed acacia petal. The wine is rich and round on the mid-palate with refreshing acidity and beautiful length.

Cellaring Potential: Drink now or age 5+ years

Food Matching: The perfect pairing with shellfish, raw or cooked. Enjoy with roasted chicken, grilled salmon or vegetables.
