Tasting Notes

Cantine Borga is a young, dynamic Italian wine family with four generations of stories united to reveal the real Veneto – fearless, wild, and ready to meet the world. The family has grown grapes in the Treviso area since 1940.

This unique & fun wine is 100% Manzoni Bianco (cross of Riesling Renano and Pinot Bianco) which was created by Professor Luigi Manzoni in the Veneto region in the 1930s. The grapes were sourced from estate vineyards in the Chiarano area and the resulting wine was vinified in stainless steel tanks where it aged for 5-6 months before bottling.

the nose, the recognitions are typical: nuanced
aromas, citrus fruits, yellow peach, acacia
flowers, rose petals and wisteria, and a veil of
minerality. The taste is satisfyingly balanced,
enveloping, supported by pleasant freshness
and flavour.

Pair with baked lamb chops with an aromatic herb
crust, BBQ chicken with roasted vegetables
and aioli, or Seitan scaloppine with roasted
vegetables and aioli.
